The lightweight Forensic Phantom uses the suspects own PC to safely and
quickly examine a suspects hard drive. Situated between the suspect hard
drive (in or out of the CPU) and motherboard, the Phantom acts as an
intelligent write-blocker that provides safe reads of the suspect hard
drive. All writes are saved on the Phantom's internal 80 GB hard drive.
Because the Phantom is invisible to the BIOS and operating system, the
examiner can also use the suspects resident software to find and inspect
unusual file types, often invisible to traditional software analysis
tools. Compatible with all O/S, file systems and/or disk access methods,
the Forensic Phantom is the perfect seek and seizure weapon against
computer crime.
