The Portable Forensic Lab (PFL) is a complete and compact lab built into
a ruggedised carry case. It provides the investigator with a full set of
tools needed for capture, analyze and document potentially incriminating
evidence from almost any digital source.
It is available in a number of well configured and affordable bundled
packages:-
1. Complete PFL System with either our MD5 or Talon hard drive Imager, a
Laptop and forensic analysis software.
2. Standard PFL System with either our MD5 or Talon hard drive Imager
and forensic analysis software. (No Laptop)
3. Stand-alone PFL System and forensic analysis software only.
4. Basic PFL System only no other items.
5, Basic PFL with a Talon or MD5 only (No Laptop or forensic software).
BUILT IN CONNECTIVITY!
The portable Forensic Lab captures and analyzes:
IDE hard drives of any size - Capture at full UDMA speeds (UDMA 4 on the MD5 unit,
and UDMA 5 on the Talon unit) Expected transfer rates may exceed 4 GB/min.
SERIAL ATA drives of any size
SCSI drives of any size. A 68-pin connector is native. Adapters to 50-pin and 80-pin are part of the kit. However speed of copying is slow through the laptop (100MB/min. average)
All popular flash media devices: Compact Flash, Microdrive, Memory stick, SD, xD, MMC, etc. These are read by a write-protected card reader.
CD/DVD-ROMs - Direct from Laptop.
Floppy drives - Either direct from Laptop or through the USB floppy reader.
Thumb drives - Directly to Laptop.
Drives with USB connectivity. No Dongle is necessary. USB "dongle" is included with unit.
