The Forensic USB Write-PROtect™ adapter from Logicube offers users the
ultimate protection for hard drive capturing and drive analysis. Specially designed for use with Logicubes Forensic SF-5000and MD5 , this USB adapter ensures full protection against inadvertent writes during drive analysis operations.
The USB Write PROtect™ adapter connects to the SF-5000 and MD5 to allow USB connectivity to the source drive for data capturing. In addition, the USB WritePROtect™ adapter guarantees read-only access when analysing the destination drive under Windows on the users' workstation.
For destination hard drive analysis, the user's workstation must be running Windows 98 or later addition. Image is compatible with FTK, Encase, and ILOOK. This special tool allows for easy access through the USB to accurately clone hard drives.

The Serial ATA (SATA) is a new standard interface for IDE hard disk
drives. This special adapter is used to connect SATA drives to only our
forensic MD5 and SF5000 duplicator range. (New Talon has inbuilt SATA)
The Logicube SATA Adapter is connected to the Serial ATA drive which
then provides traditional parallel cable connection (on the other end of
our units). Users can mix serial and parallel drives in the same session
but some speed variations will occur

This new and innovative option allows the Talon to capture either one
suspect drive to two evidence drives, or two suspect drives to one
evidence drive. Will allow a RAID two drive configuration, Soft Raid ,
Level 0 or 1, JBOD to be captured as evidence.

The ABC Enclosure is the ideal way to protect a destination drive (in
Forensic SF-5000/MD5) from exposure to atomic, chemical or biological
substances. The simple process begins by charging three 2.2AH (12V
nominal) sealed Lead Acid batteries prior to entering the contaminated area. These batteries reside inside the belly of the ABC Enclosure. The user then loads a blank destination drive into the forensic unit seals the ABC Enclosure and may then enter the contaminated area.
The user then attaches the included external combination cables, (UDMA/IDE/SATA power to the suspect drive and uses the external keypad (which replicates the internal unit's keypad), to start and complete the typical data capturing process. When the session is complete the ABC Enclosure can be decontaminated by immersion into 5% to 10% bleach solution for several minutes.

The new range of Desktop WritePROtect™ from Logicube supports IDE/UDMA/PATA and SATA (including the latest very large capacity drives) hard drive protection from alteration either through a direct cable connection, or through a USB connection. These adapters are programmed to allow only a small subset of the ATA specification commands to flow to the protected drive (reading commands) and blocks all other commands.
